The candidate will assist senior attorneys in providing legal counsel to clients, conduct legal research, draft documents, and represent clients in court and depositions as needed.Duties:Assist senior attorneys in providing legal counsel and representation to clients in business and construction litigation matters.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents.Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.Analyze legal issues, advise clients on potential solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients.Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and case documentation.Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure cases are handled efficiently and effectively.Perform other duties as assigned by senior attorneys.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida Bar.1-3 years of experience in business and/or construction litigation at a law firm.Judicial clerkship experience or strong research, writing, and legal analysis skills preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.Benefits:Competitive compensation based on experience level.Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance.Ancillary benefits options available.Firm-paid life insurance and long-term disability coverage.401(k) profit sharing plan.Professional development opportunities and continuing legal education support.
