Practice Area: Litigation - Commercial, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm in New York City is seeking a dedicated Business and Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join its nationally recognized Business and Commercial Disputes practice. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience, strong litigation skills, superior academic credentials, and a proactive approach to handling complex commercial disputes.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage a diverse caseload of complex business and commercial litigation matters.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Prepare for and participate in all aspects of litigation, including hearings, arbitrations, and trials.Analyze legal issues and develop case strategies.Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel.Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case management and strategy.Maintain organized case files and documentation.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of New York.3-4 years of substantive experience in business and commercial litigation, preferably within a large law firm setting.Superior written and oral communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously and meet deadlines.High level of attention to detail and accuracy.Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with electronic discovery and document management tools.Trial experience is a plus.Background in complex commercial disputes.Clerkship experience is advantageous.Benefits and Compensation:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance.Life insurance and retirement plans.Flexible time off plans, including paid parental leave, Paid Time Off (PTO), and paid holidays.Professional development opportunities and mentorship programs.
