About Our Opportunity As a Business Analyst at Valenz, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will be instrumental in analyzing initial goals and requirements, evaluating product specifications, orchestrating the development lifecycle, and ensuring seamless communication among internal teams and stakeholders. Your responsibilities extend to testing and deploying new features, ensuring that every aspect of our product aligns with client expectations and business objectives. Things You’ll Do Here : Serve as the primary customer interface on moderate to large business projects, establishing trust and a clear line of communication. Gather and document functional business system requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of the customer's needs and expectations. Act as a liaison between the customer and the development team, translating business requirements into actionable specifications. Review recommendations with customers, seeking their approval to proceed with proposed solutions and adjustments. Provide regular updates on project status, timelines, and any emerging challenges, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged. Review final project deliverables with the customer, securing their sign-off and confirming that all work meets their specified requirements. Coordinate the activities of contract personnel and/or vendors, aligning their contributions with the overall project plan. Proactively identify and address obstacles to project progress, implementing solutions to maintain momentum and ensure timely delivery. Participate in the testing and deployment of new features or systems, verifying that they fulfill the agreed-upon business requirements. Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor. What You’ll Bring to the Team : 5+ years of experience as a business analyst. 2+ years of quality assurance responsibilities such as planning and testing. Understanding and experience navigating SQL. Comfortable presenting to stakeholders and leadership teams with strong negotiation skills. Experience in a deadline driven environment with a knack for organization and detail. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. A plus if you have: Experience with testing tools such as Microsoft Test Manager or Zephyr. An understanding of general concepts of the healthcare industry, types of information used, how the data is produced, consumed, and transformed. Bachelor’s degree. Experience facilitating Quality Assurance processes. Where You’ll Work: This is a fully remote position, and we’ll provide all the necessary equipment! Work Environment: You’ll need a quiet workspace that is free from distractions. Technology: Reliable internet connection—if you can use streaming services, you’re good to go! Security: Adherence to company security protocols, including the use of VPNs, secure passwords, and company-approved devices/software. Location: You must be US based, in a location where you can work effectively and comply with company policies such as HIPAA.
