Business Analyst Seeking a Business Analyst that is detail-oriented and customer-focused to work within a project team in support of a Federal Agency. Duties will include stakeholder engagement (at all levels of the organization), agile user story and requirements development, wireframe development, strategic analysis, IT governance analysis and recommendations, and development of findings and recommendations, among others. Location: Hybrid 2-3 days onsite in Rockville MD, Northern VA, or Washington D.C. Any of the 3 offices are available Salary Range of $80,000 - $95,000 will be based on experience and technical interview. Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) AD&D insurance Dental insurance Disability insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid holidays Paid time off Prescription drug insurance Professional development assistance Vision insurance Work from home (Hybrid) Position Responsibilities Provide analysis, documentation, group facilitation, client coordination, and subject matter expertise support for business transformation Develop and update governance structure, policy, and resource planning documentation Assess current processes, develop workflows, and provide recommendations for process improvements, including organizational processes, customer communications, and transparency Prepare agendas and meeting minutes for customer and team status meetings Support project planning and management activities, including risk and QA management, and monitoring and reporting Apply best practices in service management including those based in Agile/Waterfall, Lean Six, Six Sigma, Scrum Evaluate current (as-is) business processes and develop recommendations for more effective and efficient future (to-be) processes by leveraging business process reengineering best practices. Facilitate customer groups to develop a portfolio inclusive of the services/technologies and maintain the portfolio up to date Facilitate customer groups to analyze information for process improvement and enhance customer services Develop, test, and train client staff on streamlined processes Monitor project progress and provide scheduled reports on measurable outcomes Provide oversight on cybersecurity compliance Create metrics and reports to improve organizational transparency (e.g., ATO requirements, SOP adoption, System issues) Position Requirements Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, or related discipline. 5 years of experience in business/IT analysis, customer engagement, IT project management, system development lifecycle, and process improvement. Minimum of 5 years of business analysis experience with 3 years of recent experience in leading Program/Project Management Office implementation efforts for a federal government agency or private sector entity. Minimum of 5 years in stakeholder facilitation, performing requirements gathering, and documentation. Minimum of 5 years of experience in using Agile/Waterfall lifecycle. Strong working knowledge of Requirements Gathering methodologies (e.g., Prototypes, user stories, epic stories, flow-chart diagrams). Thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies such as Surveys, Workshops, Interviews, brainstorming, and other ways to capture tacit knowledge. Strong understanding of Business Analytics tools (ServiceNow, Salesforce, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Platform, etc.) Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong skills in MS Office Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio. Ability to support the integration and adoption of IT process, standards, policies, and controls. Strong mix of project management and major IT transformation experience. Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively in a team environment. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Strong group facilitation and communication skills. Strong consulting skills. Experience specifying challenge areas, framing questions around the challenges, gathering and analyzing data to answer the questions, and developing recommendations based on the data. Excellent client relationship management skills. Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Familiarity with federal policies and practices around IT, innovation, and web engagement. Candidates must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government contractor badge. Public Trust Clearance desired. U.S. Citizenship is a requirement of the federal contract..
