The Brand Specialist creates and implements brand and media strategies promot ing Green Bay Oncology , its p roviders, programs, and services within the organization, to our healthcare partners , and to the public . Th is person works independently on brand projects, from conception to completion, and must handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion . This person is the primary contact point for GBO's brand, m edia , events, and messaging . E SSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Brand Management Executes appropriate media and messaging which aligns its brand and supports organizational strategy. Media Manages and maintains GBO social media sites to a high standard. Provides media and messaging expertise and offers recommendations to generate awareness of organization. Develops and implements messaging and media programs which cultivate growth and expansion. Stays current with media trends, issues, and opportunities. Monitor and report on feedback regarding GBO's brand engagement and perception among its customers and in the community. Develops and m anages GBO podcast and video production projects. Events & Community Cultivates and manages direct GBO provider and staff engagement and participation in brand activities. Guides and helps prioritize organizational sponsorships and contributions . Attends GBO brand activities as appropriate to promote the brand, providers, programs, and services within the community. Communications Aligns provider messaging with the GBO brand. Coordinates and aligns joint branding with h ealthcare and other partners. Manages and coordinates GBO press releases and interview requests. Ensures our brand is represented internally and externally at all GBO services sites and in the communities where we do business. Coordinate board of directors, committee and external partner meetings . Recruitment Develops and deploys brand in our recruitment activities. Culture Recommends and coordinates internally directed media, gifts, events, and other gestures and activities that influence and enhance brand. Service Standards Aligns service standards with brand standards. Recommends and cultivates GBO-specific communication and process habits that enhance our brand. Advocacy Public support for, or recommendation of, a particular cause or policy may be required on a periodic basis as deemed appropriate by mission and strategic initiatives . Other Maintain a balance among multiple priorities and deadlines. Willingly accepts other duties as assigned . QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Associate 's degree in marketing, brand management, interactive web management, business or related field required . Bachelor's degree preferred. T wo years of brand, marketing, d esign, s ocial media management , website programming, podcast and /or video production experience preferred. Project management experience desired. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Strong interpersonal communication skills for crucial conversations . Must be a self-starter with the ability to lead and work with people at all levels, including providing executive management. Base understanding of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and PhotoShop as well as MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.. H igh level of accuracy and attention to detail. Highly proficient and adaptable to computer software applications . Knowledge of website design programs, video production , print layout, and social media design and analysis . Ab ility to organize, prioritize and work under pressure to meet deadlines without immediate and constant supervision. A bility to exercise good judgment in recognizing the scope of authority. M aintain the highest level of confidentiality. Possess effective problem analysis and problem-solving skills . Must understand and demonstrate the principles of branding and marketing. Ability to take initiative and be flexible and adaptable in various business situations . PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT Occasionally lift up to 25 p o unds and r arely push/pull up to 50 pounds. Regularly required to stand; sit; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; twist; bend; walk; use hand to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands, arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusting focus. Sit for long periods . Work is generally performed in an office setting; desk/cubicle with chair, computer and phone. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. May experience stress related to deadlines and personnel issues.
