We're seeking a dynamic and dedicated Branch Executive to spearhead the launch and growth of our newest YMCA facility. The North Scott Community YMCA exemplifies our commitment to community as it is part of a community collaboration between the city and school district. Since 1858, the YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley has been an integral part of the Quad Cities area. As one of the fastest growing YMCA associations in the Midwest, we have 7 branches, numerous child care locations and Camp Abe Lincoln. The Quad Cities area, on the Mississippi River, is home to a more than 27,000 businesses including John Deere World Headquarters, Alcoa, Kraft, Exelon and a major military installation - the Rock Island Arsenal. We have low cost of living, great school systems and several higher education institutions. Here you can experience a variety of extra-curricular activities similar to those found in big cities but with a small town feel such as arts, baseball, big name concerts and events, and much more! Your Role: As the Branch Executive, you will be the driving force behind the success of our new YMCA branch. You'll lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional programs and services that promote youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Your responsibilities will include: Leadership: Inspiring and guiding a team to achieve our mission and vision. Community Engagement: Building strong relationships with community leaders, organizations, and members to foster collaboration and support. Operational Excellence: Overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring financial sustainability, and maintaining high standards of service delivery. Fundraising: Strengthen the community through fundraising efforts to further our mission that the YMCA is for all. Program Management: Oversee programs that meet the evolving needs of our diverse community. Qualifications: Demonstrated board/volunteer development Established fundraising experience Prior experience with staff supervision and development Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or business related field required. Three or more years of YMCA membership management and customer service preferred. Ability to make solid relations and build on current collaborations with school partners and other community entities Demonstrated skill in all areas of operational management, non-profit management preferred.
