We are looking for someone to join our Bookkeeping team! Unique Repair Services is looking to grow our team. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities: Maintain complete and accurate financial records using accounting software. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner. Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions. Prepare and send invoices to clients and follow up on overdue payments. Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Collaborate with the team to improve processes and procedures Recording Transactions, Reconciling Accounts, Generating Financial Reports, Managing AP/AR, Payroll Processing, Tax Preparation, Budgeting and Forecasting, Maintaining Financial Records, Communicating with Clients or Management, Staying Current with Regulations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or experience in a related field. Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: CPA or certification Experience in Bookkeeping Knowledge in QuickBooks and specific accounting software. Familiarity with tax preparation process. Work Environment: Our Bookkeeper will work in our office in Des Plaines, IL.
