Its vision is to expand Berklee's global reach and impact by fostering an interdisciplinary ecosystem of learning environments and partnerships to inspire innovative artistic expressions, exchanges, and collaborations, and to elevate Berklee's mission.About the Role:Under the general direction of the Director of Operations for Global Programs and Partnerships (DOOGPP) the Program Manager for Global Programs and Partnerships PM/GPP manages the day-to-day operations and logistics for the partnerships, programs and events in the Global Programs and Partnerships portfolio; including the Berklee Global Partnerships (BGP), Berklee on the Road (BOR), Berklee Latino (BL) and partnerships and programs with whom Berklee hold memoranda of understanding (MOUs) and other partnership and program agreements. The PM/GPP will also support the management of alumni artists, consultants, temporary employees and student travelers; and works collaboratively with team members from areas across the institution to ensure successful operations of Berklee's partnerships and programs. Travel is required for this position. Weekend and evening hours expected. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports the development and manages the timelines for deliverables for Global Partnerships and Programs portfolio for on campus and online programs and events.Manages the event logistics, travel planning, program and events scheduling, equipment set-up and accounts payable/receivable, etc for GPP activitiesManages the reconciliation of the program budgets for the BGP, BOR and BL programs.Supports the development and execution of the BGP Summit and BGP Faculty Seminar events.Leads travel teams to Global partner locations and programs.Supports the evaluation of student and faculty initiated travel request proposals.Develops reports for Programs and Partnerships.Supports the development and manages the logistics for online programming and events.Supervises the development of online and print content for Berklee's website and social media.Supports the hiring and management of Programs and Partnerships student assistant team.May be asked as needed to make musical presentations and support the management of musical performances or concert events as part of Global Partnerships and Programs programming.Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Must have at least a bachelor's degree with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in higher education and/or performing arts management.Ability to speak and understand languages other than English preferred.Musical training and skill required. KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: Knowledge of computer technology as it relates to office systems used at Berklee.Knowledge of software systems and databases used in Global Programs and Partnerships for scheduling events, program management and event planning and the programming skills to improve and create within those software systems.Knowledge of Berklee's academic majors, minors, courses and curriculum.Ability to work in an international environment and adapt to the cultural norms of the countries in which Berklee works and act as an agent of the college abroad.Knowledge of social media platforms.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Demonstrate skill at supporting the development of performing arts educational programs.Demonstrate skills successfully as an organizational collaborator.Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and independence.Outstanding analytical, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.Strong organizational abilities and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with high efficiency.Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly active environment.Active performing musician.Experience in all aspects of travel planning. Global travel is required in this position. Ability to travel internationally and domestically on a regular basis; potential travel requirements will be monthly, and for periods of up to two-weeks. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports the supervision of Global Programs and Partners student assistants. WORK ENVIRONMENT: SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, ETC.
