Location: Jacob's Pillow is lauded worldwide as a "hub and mecca of dancing" ( TIME Magazine ), "one of America's most precious cultural assets" (Mikhail Baryshnikov), and "the dance center of the nation" ( The New York Times ). "The Pillow" is a treasured 220-acre National Historic Landmark, a recipient of the prestigious National Medal of Arts, and home to America's longest-running international dance festival. Essential Responsibilities: Greet each guest who enters the bar area; taking beverage orders directly from guests and/or servers Participate and foster positive team relations with fellow bartenders, barbacks and bar management Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, offerings, menus and promotions Provide outstanding service to all guests of the venue. Qualifications & Requirements: Age 21 or older High school diploma or equivalent TIPS or TEAM trained or equivalent Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits and familiarity with standard drink recipes Ability to work independently and in a high stress, fast paced environment Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility in an often tightly quartered environment. Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
