Banquet Server St. Clair Country Club is searching for passionate Banquet Service staff With multiple Restaurants, Bars and banquet operation, your development and learning is never ending. St. Clair is offering fantastic benefits: Hourly pay + shift pay, approximately $20-$25/hour Golf privileges on certain days (with management approval) Free staff meals Christmas Bonus St. Clair Country Club, located 10 miles from Pittsburgh was founded in 1916 and is committed to providing outstanding food service and amenities to its approximately 870 members. The Club operation is open year round. We have several banquet rooms for member events, meetings, and other parties, including a 250 seat ballroom. We are currently looking for motivated, reliable, and passionate service staff. Experience waiting tables or working in a restaurant is not necessary for individuals with a strong work ethic and a friendly, outgoing demeanor. A presentable, conservative appearance is also important. We offer 'guaranteed' hours for banquet shifts (4 hours for lunch & 5 hours for dinner) though most run longer. In addition, the club pays a shift pay for lunch and for dinner. Weekend, evening, and holiday availability is a requirement. This is a great opportunity for people with part time availability, however, we are always eager to find hard working people with full/open availability. Candidate Qualifications: Positive attitude - Strong work ethic - Punctual and dependable - Good communication skills - Weekend, evening, and holiday availability Essential Functions Set up and clean banquet rooms and serve banquets. Performs related banquet (dining room) set-up tasks Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating Takes beverage order and serves food in specified station Pours and refills wine, coffee, water and/or other beverages served with and after the meal Clears soiled dishes as needed Cleans all assigned work areas in kitchen and dining room Advises supervisor of any member/guest complaints as soon as they occur Assists in closing functions by performing various tasks such as removing linen, busing glasses, dishes, silverware, etc., and re-setting the room Attends shift meetings. Performs clean up and closing duties assigned by manager Handles issues courteously and professionally. Advises supervisor of any member/guest complaints so they can be immediately and professionally resolved Operates within all guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints as established by the company This position guide does not state or imply that the above are the only duties and responsibilities assigned to this position.
