SUNSET FOOD MART, INC. is currently interviewing for a Bakery Manager / Pastry Chef at our Long Grove, IL location. Sunset Foods is a neighborhood supermarket, dedicated to providing the finest customer service found anywhere. We are committed to finding and training friendly, conscientious and knowledgeable staff to help us provide the freshest, highest quality products in clean, fun-to-shop stores. Sunset Foods Long Grove Bakery Manager / Pastry Chef requirements include: Excellent supervisory, communication and customer service skills; Ability to oversee operations and staffing for the bakery department within a grocery store; Cake Decorating skills and a minimum 2 years of Bakery experience required. Manage pastry making/baking, inventory and purchasing for the department; Monitor quality of goods and service within the bakery department; Responsible for the department staff training, assignments, and scheduling; Accountable for monitoring and achieving sales, purchasing, and labor targets; Must maintain proper product assortment, merchandising, and inventory control; High school diploma or its equivalent; Must be able to lift 50 pounds; Must be able to be exposed to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
