Bachelor of Science in Nursing Instructors Term and Auxiliary Cranbrook, BC Duties : Instructor(s) are required to teach in the BSN Program. You will be assigned to teach in a variety of settings, which may include classroom and lab instruction and clinical practicums in Acute Medical/Surgical or Long-Term Care facilities. Auxiliary faculty may teach a single course as required, or work on an on-call basis to backfill as required. Qualifications : The ideal candidates will have current registration with BCCNM, a Nursing Degree and a relevant Master's Degree. Candidates enrolled in a Master's program or able to commit will be considered. Strong clinical skills and recent clinical experience in Acute Care, Medical/Surgical or Gerontology is an asset along with excellent communication and collaboration skills. You will also have well developed computer skills and experience teaching adult learners is desirable. As an employee of College of the Rockies, the successful candidate is expected to be a lifelong learner who continues to develop his/her skills to help the College meet the needs of our students and our other valued clients. Successful candidates may be required to complete a Criminal Record Check. Proof of current vaccinations will be required. Salary: As per the Faculty Salary Schedule and depending on qualifications, instructional and related work experience, the salary for term and auxiliary employees is $44.89 to $71.94 per hour (this includes 16% in lieu of benefits and vacation).
