Position Overview Pantheon Data has a need for an AWS Cloud Engineer with expertise in application migrations to the AWS cloud, specifically with a specialization in Microsoft .NET/C# based applications. This role is pivotal in leading the migration of applications from on-premises to the AWS cloud environment, ensuring seamless transition and optimal performance. Responsibilities Design and oversee the migration of .NET/C# applications to the AWS cloud. Develop migration strategies that minimize downtime and maintain data integrity for each application. Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are cloud-ready and adhere to best practices. Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the migration process. Conduct regular reviews and updates to migration plans to ensure alignment with evolving business needs and AWS capabilities. Identify potential challenges and compatibility issues related to cloud migration. Conduct unit and performance testing to ensure migrated applications function as intended within the AWS cloud. Prioritize security and compliance measures throughout the migration process. Communicate technical progress and challenges clearly to stakeholders. Document processes and best practices for reference during future cloud migrations. Require d Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in architecting and migrating .NET/C# applications to AWS. Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture, particularly as they relate to .NET/C# applications. Experience in managing large-scale migration projects. Familiarity with security standards and compliance requirements, especially in federal contexts. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Skills & Experience Experience working with federal clients is a plus. Clearance Requirements U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
