Reports to the Head of US Operations and indirectly to the Global Head of Private Debt -The Aztec Group is excited about expanding our award-winning fund, corporate and depositary services offering globally. The US based Private Credit Associate Director will play a key role in developing our Private Credit business in the United States by supporting the evolution of best practice, financial governance and strategic considerations related to the processing and reporting of loan investments and the development of the Private Credit service model.Key responsibilities: Operations Providing hands on practical leadership with all elements of establishing, improving and roll out of our Private Credit capabilities in the US including elements of loan processing (LSU). Business Development Work with Aztec's business development team and the wider Private Credit senior leadership team to help deliver our strategic plans and to deliver revenue growth, profitability, relationship management and business development across the global Private Credit client base. Develop relationships with Aztec's leadership team, both within Private Credit and across the Group and provide a conduit for serving existing Aztec Group clients' credit servicing needs. Support the Jurisdictional Heads of Private Credit and the Global Head of Product in building and growing Aztec's Private Credit offering specifically by building a team in the US. Develop an industry profile as the 'Aztec expert lead' in all things Loan and Private Credit related, which involves, thought leadership, industry involvement and profile development in the US industry. Client Management Work with the Private Credit fund services leadership and management team to ensure that high-levels of client service are delivered on a day-to-day basis for their respective client portfolios. Ensure that all client outputs are of sufficient quality and subject to satisfactory review. Actively develop relationships with existing clients and their other adjacent service providers such as auditors and lawyers. Work collaboratively with other Aztec teams providing services to the same clients to ensure a consistent and co-ordinated client experience. Deliver daily, accurate, loan processing capabilities adhering to all KPIs and developing clear and transparent MIS for both clients and internal stakeholders. People Management Provide oversight of and line management to managers and staff, build a results focused culture, effectively supervise, coach, direct and engage the team through their day-to-day work and longer-term career ambitions. Support people management initiatives including, but not limited to, training, development and/or promotion and remuneration considerations. Work with the Private Credit fund services management team on all aspects of junior team member recruitment and the relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Financial Performance Management Work with the Private Credit management team on an ongoing basis to support them with client- and team-specific financial considerations. Liaise effectively with our internal finance team and our clients on billing, invoicing and payment considerations. Operational Performance Management Act as the first point of escalation for the Private Credit team for all technical loan advice receipt, set up, accounting or valuation considerations that may require a senior/experienced level of judgement. Act as a higher-level authority for internal and external considerations including, but not limited to, new business risk assessments, financial decisions and formal client communications. Work with the Private Credit fund services management team, ensuring that Aztec's internal control framework is consistently delivered across our loan services business. Work effectively with the Operational Resilience team to facilitate an effective ISAE3402 audit process. Governance Join the Private Credit senior leadership team to consider global operational matters.Skills, knowledge & expertise: Proven experience of delivering and/or leading the provision of professional services to a portfolio of Alternative Investment Fund clients, specifically in relation to Loan Servicing Experience in a regulated Financial Services business and awareness of local and global regulatory environments A relevant professional qualification or demonstrated experience in Private Markets Fund Administration Experience of contributing to and being responsible for operational, financial and people performance in a successful organisation Proven experience of contributing to both proactive and reactive business development activity, including relationship development, proposal development and presentation scenarios Strong technical knowledge of the Alternative Funds industry and again specifically Private Credit and/or Loan Servicing Who are we?
