Associate Dean for Research of the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing University of California, Davis Sacramento, California The University of California, Davis and UC Davis Health seek a collaborative, dynamic, and strategic research leader to serve as the next Associate Dean for Research (ADR) of the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Nursing, the ADR will provide leadership, vision, and integrity in the shaping of the School of Nursing research policy and training. They will play an integral part in developing the Schools research mission, fostering collaborative relationships and research initiatives across UC Davis Health, the UC Davis Office of Research, and peers in the other UC Davis colleges and schools.With a mission to integrate the science and humanity of nursing and other health disciplines, the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing leads innovative research, education, and practice, preparing leaders who advance health, transform health care, and ignite bold system change locally, nationally, and globally. The Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing, the School of Medicine, the UC Davis Medical Center, and the UC Davis Medical Group comprise UC Davis Health.As the regions only academic health center, UC Davis Health is focused on discovering and sharing knowledge and providing the highest quality of care. The ideal candidate will possess a background in nursing or other health sciences and demonstrate a proven track record of securing funded research. They should have expertise in promoting and supporting research through diverse funding mechanisms and substantial experience in fostering interdisciplinary collaborations.
