The ideal candidate will manage all legal processes from inception through post-judgment remedies, providing high-quality legal representation in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Duties:Manage all legal processes from inception through post-judgment remedies.Provide high-quality legal representation and treat all customers with fairness and respect.Handle a high-volume caseload and provide expert analysis and advice on legal and regulatory risks.Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve final resolution of cases.Travel to various courts within the state of North Carolina, if needed, for legal proceedings and court hearings.Work with the Managing Attorney to report all activity and results.Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and present oral arguments effectively.Analyze case law and provide recommendations.Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for legal documentation and communication. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in VA.0-2 years of experience in bankruptcy/collection or civil law litigation.License to practice law in other states in the firm's footprint or UBE passage is a plus. Skills:Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze case law.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Outstanding time management skills.
