This role requires a proactive individual who excels in tackling challenging legal and compliance issues in a fast-paced environment. The Associate Attorney should possess excellent research and writing skills, a strong academic background, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Job Duties:Conduct legal research on political, election, and government law matters.Provide legal counsel and support on lobby compliance issues.Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings.Participate in case strategy development and contribute to legal discussions.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.Requirements:1-4 years of legal experience.Preferably experienced in lobby compliance.Strong academic background in law.Detail-oriented with excellent research and writing skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.Demonstrated capability to work independently and collaboratively.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar.Skills:Proficient in legal research methods and databases.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to analyze complex legal issues.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
