The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in the legal field, possess excellent writing skills, and be admitted to the Michigan Bar. The firm offers a 401(k) plan as part of the benefits package.Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and pleadings.Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and depositions.Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various legal issues.Prepare and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.Manage case files from inception through resolution, ensuring all deadlines are met.Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex legal matters.Conduct client interviews and maintain regular communication with clients.Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.Attend networking events and participate in business development activities.Requirements:Admission to the Michigan Bar.Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the legal field.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan.Skills:Excellent legal research and writing skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Familiarity with legal case management software.Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.Benefits:401(k) retirement plan.
