What's your day like? As a new Assistant Store Manager at Waxberg's in Niles, IL, you can expect a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing store operations, assisting customers, managing inventory, and leading a team of sales associates. You'll work closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service. This position works 40+ hours per week, 5 days a week with increased hours/days in peak season. Your schedule will include evenings & weekends to meet the needs of our business and customers. What matters most To excel as an Assistant Store Manager at Waxberg's in Niles, IL, you'll need a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years experience in full-service retail or a related field. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and prioritize tasks are essential for success in this role. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders as needed.Experience in shoe retail is a bonus, but not required. Demonstrating a customer-centric attitude, problem-solving skills, and a passion for the retail industry will set you up for success in this dynamic position.
