Job Title: Assistant Ecologist Salary: GBP23,000 : GBP27,000 DOE Location: London Are you an Assistant Ecologist near London looking for a new opportunity? We are working with a highly successful environmental consultancy in London who can offer GBP23,000 : GBP27,000 per year depending on your experience, hybrid working, allowance for overnight work, company matched pension scheme and 24 days annual leave + bank holidays. They will also support you through extensive CPD and training to ensure you get the absolute best start to your career. As an Assistant Ecologist, youll have a range of interesting projects to support, including renewable energy, residential, logistics, education and leisure. Youll provide support on extended phase 1 habitat and UKHab surveys, phase 2 surveys for protected species, produce a variety of ecological reports, and manage surveys and associated mitigation work. You will be encouraged to explore areas of work that most interest you, and support is available to work towards obtaining protected species licences and qualifications. To be considered you will need: Bachelors degree in relevant subject Proven experience as a professional ecological consultant. Good ecological field skills covering a range of protected species and habitats.
