The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience in structured finance and securitization, with a focus on RMBS or ABS and a strong desire to contribute to a collaborative legal environment.Duties:Structure and execute complex finance transactions involving Residential Mortgage Backed Securities (RMBS) secured by QM and non-QM mortgage loans, reverse mortgage loans, HELOCs, Reperforming Loans (RPLs), and consumer Asset Backed Securities (ABS) secured by loans such as marketplace loans, auto loans, credit card receivables, and equipment loans.Provide legal advice on transactions involving other asset classes, such as solar loans, mineral rights, royalties, single-family rental properties, timeshares, and trade receivables.Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents, including loan agreements, pooling and servicing agreements, and other relevant documentation.Conducted due diligence reviews and assisted in regulatory compliance matters related to securitization transactions.Collaborate with partners, clients, and other stakeholders to achieve transactional goals and manage client relationships effectively.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Texas State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.3-5 years of experience in asset finance and securitization at a large law firm.Demonstrated experience with RMBS and ABS transactions, including a solid understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with structured finance transactions involving diverse asset classes.Experience advising on renewable energy, real estate, or consumer finance transactions.Proficiency in legal research and drafting complex legal documents.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Texas State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.Skills:Structured finance and securitization expertise.Transactional drafting and negotiation.Due diligence and regulatory compliance.Team collaboration and client relationship management.
