Primary Function Assembler (1st Shift) constructs high quality custom commercial water heaters, boilers, and pool heaters; assembles items such as fans, gas trains, sheet metal parts, heat exchangers and other assemblies Role Specific Responsibilities :Start up, operation and shutdown of equipment.:Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies.:Feed or place items onto equipment for processing.:Complete assembly of components while inspecting components for fit, form and function per defined procedures.:Use a variety of hand tools.:Ensure conformance to specifications.:Interpret, monitor and record production data.:Learn multiple tasks related to the assigned production area.:Maintain and clean and safe production area.:May perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:Strong oral and written communication skills:Measurement/mathematical skills:Basic computer knowledge and ability to use electronic information.:Ability to work independently or on a team:Ability to multi:task and problem solve. Education High School Diploma or GED Years of Experience Minimum of 1 year related work experience Physical Requirementsstylemargin:top:0.0;margin:bottom:0.0::Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as steel:toe shoes/boots, ear and eye protection. :The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and with assistance:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
