Key Information: Must have 1 to 2 years of industrial or civil construction or equivalent experience. Hours: Project dependent Must be willing to work evenings and weekends on various schedules. Hourly rate is dependent on experience. Health benefits and vacation pay offered. Job Description: Operate and maintain asphalt paving equipment in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications. Perform asphalt paving tasks including but not limited to: spreading and leveling asphalt, compacting surfaces using rollers, excavating and grading areas, and operating skid steers for various tasks. Ensure proper drainage and compaction of asphalt surfaces to meet project specifications. Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete paving projects within scheduled timelines. Adhere to environmental regulations and company policies regarding waste disposal and material usage. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and address any issues or concerns that may arise during paving operations.
