The Position Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking an appearance attorney to cover a wide range of bankruptcy, foreclosure, and eviction related appearances. We're looking for bright, enthusiastic individuals, who will bring a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow alongside the firm. Willing to train the right individual. Responsibilities Appear on a wide range of default services court appearances including bankruptcy, foreclosure, and eviction related matters Frequent client contact Management of numerous legal matters and assignments including but not limited to settlement negotiations and litigated matters Qualifications Positive energy and confidence Superior public speaking skills Admission to New York, plus if you're admitted in NJ or PA Admission to or willingness to waive into corresponding district courts Positive energy and confidence Superior public speaking skills Ability to identify and resolve legal issues quickly and proficiently Compensation/Benefits We offer a compensation package that will be commensurate with experience and a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flex spending, 401k and gym/fitness membership reimbursement.
