Fully Remote in the states of: Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, or Washington. THE JOB The AP/AR Manager will oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions. You will lead a small team of tenured, fully remote employees guiding them through daily operations, process improvements, and strategic initiatives. You will work closely with various departments, including procurement and sales, to streamline processes and improve the financial performance of the company. This is a fully remote position. RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team members Coach and mentor team members and provide them training and development opportunities Review client credit applications Help prepare invoices during quarterly high-volume invoicing periods Handle irregular A/R activities like bankruptcies and credit card disputes Act as a point of escalation for A/R questions Review new vendor set up forms Investigate bills that have suspected mistakes Answer questions from other teams about either A/R or A/P Monitor and complete tasks needed to close books Assist with sales tax filings REQUIREMENTS 3+ years practical bookkeeping experience required 2+ years Lead or Management experience strongly preferred Solid understanding of bookkeeping software Good with numbers Strong PC Skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook and Internet) Attention to detail and organization Excellent written and oral communication skills Customer service oriented  Experience working remotely or working regularly with remote employees a plus COMPENSATION $57K-$80K/yr DOEPowered by JazzHR
