What You Will Be Doing As a software engineer you will be expected towork within a team to design, develop, test andmaintain Air Mobility C-130J and C-5 softwareproducts. Must be capable of working effectivelywithin a configuration managed softwaredevelopment environment across all phases ofthe project life cycle. Adherence to rigorouscompany and program specific softwaredevelopment processes (PM 4001) is required.Software development experience includingrequirements analysis, high-level and detaileddesign, coding, integration and test is required.This position requires excellent written and verbalcommunication skills, and ability to buildconsensus among peers while building solidrelationships across Agile Development Teams. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelors degree or above from an accreditedcollege in computer science, computerengineering and/or electrical engineering.* Experience with embedded real-time systems* Experience with C/C++* Experience with Agile methodology and tools inthe development, integration, and test ofcomplex software systems and environments. Desired Skills: * Experience with Ada95 and/or Python.* Experience with DO-178B/C* Experience with compilers, debuggers,static/dynamic code analysis tools* Experience with test tools (e.g. VectorCAST)* LINK 16 Experience preferred * Comfortable working in a fast paced anddynamic multi-disciplinary environment. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
