Job Description: Aircraft Retrofit Certification and/or Interior Engineer Job Location: Fort Worth, TX Job Type: W2 Contract, 40 hours per week Description: Certification Engineering requests assistance with STC report creation, type design data reviews, STC program management, STC package creation and coordination. Investigates reliability/serviceability problems, and designs/develops corrective actions. Provides technical interface with manufacturers and suppliers. Develops Engineering Orders to modify aircraft interior equipment and/or configurations. Provides engineering support to Flight, Marketing, Quality Assurance and Aircraft Production in addition to supporting engineering related programs and objectives. Responsibilities: Selects appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve complex engineering issues. Is consulted extensively by associates and others as a recognized authority within the field. Anticipates and resolves complex issues in creative and effective ways, developing standards and guides for diverse engineering activities. Approach to problem solving balances technical product, cost and schedule. Works without appreciable direction; work is reviewed from a long-range perspective for desired results. Exercises latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments and makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative. Qualifications: BS/MS Degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering discipline from an accredited college/university. Aircraft interiors engineering experience Must have good interpersonal skills and work well with other groups. Level to be determined based upon qualifications and experience of candidate Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs Powered by JazzHR
