As a dedicated Actuarial Analyst II, you will coordinate, prepare and perform actuarial analyses required to develop new products, project future results, reprice existing products, and/or determine financial strength. We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Utilize actuarial modeling software for pricing, valuation, and/or risk management.- Enter data and tables, runs models, and generates reports.- Maintain proper price level, price structure, data availability and other requirements to achieve profitability and competitive goals.- Adhere to the USAA Actuarial Exam Program Guidelines and the Actuarial Cross Train Program Guidelines.- Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures. Bachelor’s Degree OR 4 additional years of Actuarial/business/analytical experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a Degree.- 2 years of Actuarial/business/analytical experience + 3 CAS exams Prior experience working with Towers Watson Radar software (or Earnix)- 2 or more years’ experience using SQL/SAS to query data quickly for reports and analyses- Autonomous organizational and project/timeline management skills- Demonstrated experience as a routine contributor (and occasional presenter) to staff meeting discussions- Experience with Personal Property lines of business and their associated rating structures- US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position.
