Job Summary Acts as the coordinator for resident programs, encompassing recreational activities, social and cultural events, fitness, travel, and entertainment within a large community. Responsibilities and Duties The role encompasses program development, scheduling of facilities, managing groups and clubs, and promoting programs. Duties include collecting fees and ticket sales, ensuring events comply with legal and organizational standards. The position involves encouraging community engagement, fostering participation, and sustaining a dynamic volunteer program. It entails overseeing all recreational and fitness activities, vetting, hiring, and managing contractors. Responsibilities also include creating flyers, promotional materials, and tickets, liaising with business partners, managing finances, and aligning revenue with vendor payments. The job requires developing an event tracking system for ongoing enhancement, keeping a systematic filing system and calendar, providing administrative support as directed by the General Manager, and performing hostess/server duties at events. The role operates during standard business hours; however, it necessitates some flexibility to participate in scheduled events during occasional evenings and weekends. Qualifications and Skills Proficient in both verbal and written communication skills.Experienced in organizing events for large groups.Solid background in customer service.Highly skilled in software usage, various forms of electronic media, and quick to learn new software systems.Basic accounting skills, including budget tracking, revenue collection, and reporting on event-related expenditures.Excellent organizational abilities.
