This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in accounting, specifically in Accounts Payable, to contribute to our growing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger, and maintaining financial records and reports. The position requires a strong understanding of canopy, General Ledger, and Bookkeeping. This role demands 5+ years of experience in the field, with a focus on attention to detail, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills.Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of accounts payable including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management. Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions. Maintain accurate financial records and prepare clear and accurate reports for financial analysis. Use canopy to manage and maintain financial data in a secure and efficient manner. Assist with month-end closing activities and annual audits. Collaborate with other departments to improve financial procedures and ensure financial compliance. Resolve accounts payable issues with vendors and clients in a professional and timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably in the Manufacturing industry. Proficient in canopy, General Ledger, and Bookkeeping. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail. Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle complex calculations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.Interested in hearing more?
