We are excited to partner with our client, as they have a full-time opening for a 3rd Shift Maintenance Tech in Buford, GA. This position offers competitive pay and benefits. Job Description: This position will include installing, working on, doing Preventative Maintenance, and Predictive Maintenance on our new Facility and extrusion department. Must have vast electrical and mechanical knowledge in the industry and able to work on all different types of systems. Work schedule must be flexible and willing to do call-ins on a as need basis. Must work with production and management to ensure machine uptime and reliability. * Knowledge and application of Engineering software. * Ensure the on-time completion of Preventative Maintenance actions. Maintenance all records as required. * Enter all work orders into the system and provide breakdowns from either call-ins, work orders from PM"s or safety requests. * Enter new equipment into Maintenance PM software. * Evaluate equipment for grouping and controlling PM times, dates and duties. * Reporting of Maintenance downtime reports, budgets, utilization and upcoming projects. * Organize the maintenance area and keep clean. * Ensure adequate spare parts and inventory on hand. *Prioritize all maintenance activities to obtain lowest long-term down-time. * Must be able to work with vendors and gain parts information. * Ensure adequate spare parts inventory on hand and manage inventory. * Work with vendors to ensure that all laws, specification for warranty on equipment, and facility are up to date. * Run electrical circuits as required. * Ability to do fabrication such as Welding Mig, or Tig preferred, cutting with Plasma or Oxygen Acetylene torch, grinding, and improve equipment for better throughput or operator ease of work. * Must be available for after-hours, including weekends. * Ability to lift 55 lbs. * Ability to stand up for 12 hours. * Ability to work in a facility that is not climate controlled. Education/Requirements: High School degree required Bachelors degree preferred 10 years working in an Industrial Maintenance environment. Project Management experience is a plus.
