As a rapidly expanding player in the MedTech sector, ComKardia focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance coronary artery disease (CAD) interventions, specifically percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Our intelligent application integrates geometrical data and blockage characteristics from medical imaging to reconstruct coronary arteries in real time, creating digital twins and providing cognitive computing support for interventional cardiologists. Job Description: We are seeking an expert software engineer for 3D data processing and visualization to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating, manipulating, and visualizing 3D meshes from various data sources, including segmented images and point clouds. The candidate should be able to design and implement computer graphics and 3D rendering techniques in C++ that run in real-time. You will work closely with our development team to ensure the accuracy and quality of 3D models used in our projects. Key Responsibilities: Generate 3D Meshes: Create high-quality 3D meshes from segmented images and point clouds using VTK/PCL. Mesh Fusion: Skillfully merge two or more 3D meshes into a single object, maintaining correct topology and ensuring seamless integration. Visualization: Develop and implement 3D surface and volume rendering techniques for visualizing 3D structures with various material properties (with shading, transparency, etc). Mesh operations: Develop and apply algorithms (e.g., smoothing, measurement, transformation, and decimation) to 3D meshes, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including developers, designers, and project managers, to achieve project goals and deadlines. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of processes, methodologies, and best practices for future reference. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Graphics, or a related field. Proven experience in 3D mesh generation, manipulation, and visualization. Proficiency with 3D modeling libraries (VTK, PCL, or similar) and C++ programming. Strong understanding of computer graphics, geometry processing, and topology. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills: Experience with medical imaging or scientific visualization.
