Summary We are a faith-based center providing care and education for children 8 weeks to age 12. The ideal candidate has at least 6 months experience working in a DSS licensed childcare center. You must be 18 and have a HS diploma. We are an ABC Quality Enhanced Child Care Center so ECD 101 is preferred but not mandatory. You must take a 15 hour online course in Health and Safety within your first month of employment. Our center hours are 7:00 am -6:00 pm. This candidate working with our 2 year old class and must possess a nurturing and patient spirit.We are located in Forest Acres and our DSS License is #16556Applicant must be hard working and dedicated to teaching young children. Duties Interact and play with childrenHelp teach lesson plans/circle time/artChange diapers/potty train when children are readyHeat up lunch, and help feed childrenSweep and wipe tables after snack and lunchBe loving, patient, kind, compassionate to childrenInteract and communicate with parents at pickup and drop offAdapt and fulfil lesson plansPerform assessments and parent teacher conferencesBe able to lead the classroom and work well with other teachers Requirements 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GEDat least 6 months working in a licensed childcare facilityMust be reliable, patient, and have a loving spiritFulfill the St. Michael's teacher expectations Must complete Safe Church Training within 1 month of being hiredMust complete annual training hours Nice To Haves CPR/First Aid Certified ECD 101Early Childhood Education Benefits 403 Retirement PlanWe offer paid time off, paid sick time offPaid Holidayssupplemental insurance through Colonial LifeChild Care discount
